I might be crazy but I was just cleaning off my iPhone and was looking at the silver apple logo on the back. I am seeing faint brown stains in several spots.
Is anyone else seeing this?
I am waiting for my invisible shield to come so I can protect this baby more but the plastic and apple logo keep getting slightly scratched just from fibers.
You think I could exchange it for a new one due to the stains? And do you think it is even worth my time to try and exchange it if so. How did you go about doing it with your and how long did it take.. etc?
If I were you I would take it back to the store you purchased especially if its annoying. You could simply indicate to them that this is an exterior defect you noticed, and ask for an exchange. Once they realize you simply can't remove the stain they will know the phone was sold with cosmetic defect.
I have the white iPhone and I noticed the same extact thing. Nothing would remove the stains. I also noticed that my screen and dust inside so I exchanged it due to the dust.
Thanks for the info. I bought it at an AT&T store. I heard they are out of stock for sometime. Should I just go to the apple store or will they not let me since I didn't buy it there?
