AppId and the Bundle Identifier

When I created my appID I wasn't sure what to put in the Bundle Identifier so I just entered *, is there something wrong with doing this? Can I get problem when submitting my app to appstore beacause of this?

Thanks for your help!

I have created in the portal an AppID com.planebill.jetbill, no wildcard *, so now

I am stuck now by providing the same value and all applications I try to install on the iPhone get overwritten.

What can I do? Can I create a new AppID? Can I modify the existing one? The whole process of signing/security/AppID is very tedious and long!

Many Thanks
Massimo

I am having the same problem as a number of others on here... I uploaded my first app (iBacteria) and it worked fine. Now I have written some updates, the only change I've made to the info.plist is to change the version from 1.0 to 1.0.1. After that, when I tried to upload the new binary zip, the error itunesconnect gave was something like "bundle identifier cannot change betweeen minor versions".

I looked at the info.plist from a previous snapshot of my code and made the current one identical in every way and it still gives that error.

I phoned Apple and they advised me to use the Application Loader... when I did that, my app still says Waiting for Upload but now I cannot get real-time feedback on what the error might have been.

Any ideas anyone? Short of somehow getting Apple to send me the info.plist file that was part of my original package so that I can duplicate it I'm totally stuck!
