Embroidery machine with USB port???

I have a Brother Sewing/Embroidery Machine Model #HE-240. It has a USB port to hook the sewing machine together to transfer embroidery designs. Can I use this with my MacBook. I'm told you can use PC software on the Mac and was wondering if would work??

You would have to run a virtual machine either through Parallels or through VMWare Fusion. Another option is to install bootcamp, this will also run windows. Install your program and run as normal.
