Antenna location ?

I was pretty sure that I read somewhere that the Bezel and the metal rings around the camera and the headphone jack were connected to the antenna to strengthen the signal. Is this the case? I'll see if I can find the reference.

It's the back, at the bottom near the dock connector. Similar to the first iPhone. Some people have reported better reception just by turning the phone upside down or in some other way, not covering the antenna with their hand while talking. I use the headphones to talk, so I don't have this problem.

Lots of misinformation in here.

The post to the official antenna announcement is correct. It is NOT on the back lower part like the original iPhone.

It is in the metal bezal around the front of the iPhone, it is in the metal rings surrounding the camera and the headset jack, and in several other internal areas.

It's one of the reasons some people are having trouble with reception and stuff -- covering the metal bezel entirely with their hands, etc. Good to know where it is.

It's internal - not visible without opening the casing.

I haven't had any signal trouble with mine.
