Error 403 on iTunes Muisc Store

I have the exact same problem. Maybe iTunes is down. Is anyone else having this problem?

Yup -- I've been having the same problem for about 15 minutes

I downloaded itunes 6.0 yesterday, I have been getting all sorts of errors with the music store.

So, I am guessing itunes is down.....atleast I hope its itunes and not my computer.

Same here. Just upgraded to iTunes v6. Not sure if that is the problem or it's something else. What version of iTunes are you running?

I've been having the same problem.. I bought an album with 13 songs and only got 8... They better do something about this, or they aren't going to get much more business. This is not a good first buying impression of iTunes!

Same error here. Downloaded 6.0 today & tried downloading a CD. It let me download half of the CD and crapped out on the other half (of course the half of the CD with the songs I wanted were not downloaded).

Apple better get on fixing this one pretty quick.

Me too.. apparently Apple is too busy dealing with Video issues to sell music 😟 Oh well..

You are not alone. I have been having the same problem. I was able to buy one song, but when I went to purchase more music, I received the error message. I also received same message when I tried to do a search on various artists.

Do you think Apple will refund us for our lost songs? Since we paid for them?

Me too. I keep getting error 403 and error 5555.
Also, do any of you know how I can change my account password?! Sorry, I'm ITunes ghetto.

So they took my money for a song, but won't deliver it. I get a random assortment of errors (5555, 403, etc). No real consistency, just random errors.

Has iTunes and Apple gone by the way of Delta Airlines? Eager for our money but more concerned with flashy press events than with service?

Why has no moderator chimed in yet to address these problems? I am afraid I am going to have to dispute a 99 cent charge on my credit card, and that is just wrong!

I wish they would just post somewhere...iTunes will be down....It's like Macy's at Christmas I guess.....

yeah mine is down too. I maybe because they just started offering TV shows on itunes. I think it probably drew quite a crowd like myself. it is real dumb that they didn't prepare for this better because I am pretty turned off by this
