You can click on the advance tab and click on check for purchased music and once the system is working you should get whatever music hasn't been downloaded yet
I was having the same problem with iTunes: I was getting an error 403 message, so i updated from v. 5 to v. 6 and now i get an error that says "iTunes cannot connect to the music store." anyone know what's going on?
Thanks. I'm glad it wasn't because I jumped to v6. Not happy that we're all having these problems though.
I thought it was just me and deleting my aol account. I guess they've just loaded too much stuff on iTunes, something had to suffer.
A message on the main page would've been a nice gesture, though

ditto. I can't wait up all night trying to download music. I am using my free time to get some songs - I hope they clear this up soon.
Same error......... :-/
I guess I was lucky. I downloaded an album after 12 trips to the advanced button to retrieve undownloaded items. Unfortunately I only got 19 of 20 selections, and the message says I've received everything I paid for (NOT!)
I may just blow another .99 to get everything, as I suspect I will waste a lot more energy and aggravation to get caught up. I am not happy!

I'm having the same problem. i've used itunes before but today was the first time i decided to actually purchase something. I upgraded to 6.0 today without hassle so i could download "lost". it purchased it and began to download, but then stopped because "my network was down" (which it wasn't). I tried again and it downloaded halfway through before i got the same error message telling me to check for purchases, which won't open because it can't access the music store. I'm very turned off by this whole process because i don't even know if they took my $1.99!!
does anyone think they will respond to this problem? will i ever get my money's worth or, hopefully, my money back?
who can you contact about something like this without being told to check your purchases, which it seems no one can do?

Same thing is happening here. Just down loaded Marty Casey's "Trees" then upgraded to 6.0 for vids, and got locked out after the DL. Whats up with that? Must be having some issues over there at the i-Tunes.
Itunes is really ticking me off tonight. I got the same error message during the middle of downloading an album, so I only got about 10 songs out of 16. When I clicked "check for purchased music," it only gave me one more song, and said everything I purchased had already been downloaded.
I am NOT paying .99 cents each for these other songs I already paid for. Somebody needs to fix this problem promptly.
