I'm sure it will be fine. I too joined just to down load lost. I missed the first couple eps and I want to catch up so I can watch it on tv again. I'm just glade someone is offering it for download in an official manner. The pricing of these eps are reasonable also. I have to applaud apple for that. however maybe they didn't realize all the lost geeks where going to download. if these are VHS quality they will be like 300 megs. I guess they didn't take that into account.
Just throwing my hat into the ring along with all the others. Just upgraded so I can try out the video features...there WAS an error during the install but it seemed to continue past it without crashing the installer so I didn't think anything of it. Anyone else?
Assuming the error number is an HTTP code, maybe someone at the iTunes store needs to check on permissions? 🙂

Same problem, still on version 5.0. With the trouble I had upgrading to 5.0 I don't want to try 6.0.
I had 2 errors during install I think they where both causesd by installing guicktime. I uninstalled quicktime and itunes and reinstalled and It all worked fine
I'm having the same problem--lots of 4xx and 5555 errors when I try to authorize the Lost episode
also, I can't even view my account information--it says the music store is not available
hopefully this will get fixed

I've been having the same problem. I just purchased the soundtrack to the original Superman Movie & it seemed like it was downloading, but I got an error saying to check my network connection (which I know is okay). I guess iTunes is down or currently under maintenance? If so does Apple have a forum or page that you can visit that will tell you so?
No, it seems more like either you can get in, or not.
well now you can't even get into the music store. I sent them an email, along with a lot of other people. I guess they know what's going on now, which can be a good thing.
I have been having the same error message as ya'll when I try to access songs from the store. I do have to give the support site credit though, for telling me to log on to the discussion board. Now I don't feel so alone ;(
Well this has been an exciting night. Haven't been able to purchase even one song. I'm sure Apple has their hands full. Hopefully they'll resolve it soon. Please.....
I've been having the same problem too (403/555)--all day! Now I can't even log on.
I have fixed the problem, i think. This worked for me. Go to Your purchased music section in your iTunes source thing. Then click on the "advance" button at the top. Then click 'check for purchased music' second from bottom. it will show the music that wasnt downloaded in a faded gray color at the end of your list. click the undowloaded song and it will download it. It worked fine for me. I hope this helps some people.
Yeah. Bought some music earlier today at work, moved it to my home computer, tried to sync with my iPod and the music can't authenticate. I paid for the music and now I can't play it because the server can't authenticate. Getting the 403 Error. Lovely!
while trying to download a podcast i got the same thing so i just kept hitting subscribe and it acted like it was going to work and then the error message came up and after hitting subscribe probably 20 times out of frustration it worked !!!
Same deal here - both on 5.X before upgrading, and now on 6.0. My bet: bandwidth problems on the Apple side, now that people are downloading video.
Oh boy.
