MD Crash Report Tool Quits

Upon syncing I get the message MD Crash Report Tool Quits. After clicking ok, it continues with the sync. How can I fix this error?

Well, specifically I was wondering about the MD part of it... just curious i suppose...

Next I was wondering if it just sends the report of crashing iPhone or iTunes or both...

I was wondering what causes it to crash... like several iPhone crashes between syncs or what...

Thanks for pointing to another discussion... but i guess the only solution is to restore....which i will do... but i was looking for preventive information as well.

This happens ever since I downloaded the latest iTunes and iPhone 2.0.1 update, and occurs whenever I sync my phone. I've seen two problems due to this:
- I phone sync goes into backup mode, prolonging a sync to an ungodly length
- I believe it may have also corrupted my iPhoto prefs, as this occurred during the iPhone photo sync

I trashed my iPhoto plist and that fixed iPhoto. As for the sync, I simply click the X in the display window at the top of iTunes where it says it is backing up the phone. The backup stops but the rest of the sync continues as desired.

I hope Apple is on this one quickly.

I've been able to resolve the problem for my situation. I ended up taking some time and performing a Restore from iTunes, setting the phone up as a new device. The process will back up your phone, so your information is saved. The negative is that you have to setup you phone again (add your network passwords, desktop pics, etc.). The good news is that it resolves the crash report issue, and seems to make syncs faster and the phone less "crashy",
