I have 2 spots of dead pixel which are really really tiny small.
I do not mind keep it but my concern is does dead pixel spread out?
I am worrying that tiny small dead pixel spread out and became huge.
Do you have any ideas?
Actually it may spread out. The biggest factor in dyeing pixels are the contacts between the circuit board and the display. Try pushing he screen, if the dead pixels come alive, than that`s your case too. This happens if the iPod/iPhone is subjected to high pressure. Happened to a colleague of mine.
Spreading pixels are caused by overheating from neighbouring pixels. It's possible, but not certain if it would grow to the extent that you'd notice in 3~5 years.
No, he had an old iPhone, and a iTouch, both having perfectly working LCDs at first, and after droping/other abuses, they developed these "offline" pixels. I was surprised to see that pushing on the LCD would fix the problem :))
My old iPhone had a single stuck pixel (it was red in dark scenes, it could do white and light colors though) for months. It remains the only bad pixel on the screen.
