Tiny cracks on white edge near volume buttons

I noticed on my iPhone 3g there are very tiny cracks in the white part near the volume control and along that side. My phone has never been dropped and I noticed this shortly after purchasing it. Will I be able to have this fixed or get a replacement phone?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.4.10), 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Only apple knows. Either stop by an apple store and show them or call up applecare.

They should replace yours.

When you pick up your replacement make sure its perfect though! Do a search here for "common problems" to find a list of things that other people have posted as problems.
