Mail: signature above quoted text?

Hello!

If I don't take a signature automatically in every E-Mail, but by clicking in the E-Mail the signature-field, the signature ist always below the quoted text, not above!
It's really humbug to write the signature below the receiver's quoted mail!

Yes, the checkbox "signature above quoted text" (translated into English, so it maybe is not the right text) in the settings. If I click the automatic signature, it is above the quoted text, but that's not usefull, because I write too many emails to my coworkers, where there shouldn't be a signature!

Is there any help?

I can't remember where I learned this information but to fix it, do the following:

1. Add a new signature that contains nothing to your list of signatures, named "Blank" or other appropriate title

2. Make sure that this blank signature is the first item on the signature list for each of your mail accounts (change the order by dragging)

3. At the bottom of the signature screen, check "Place signature above quoted text"

Now, when you choose a signature, it should appear below your reply, but above the quoted text.
