Photobucket app problem on iTouch

I downloaded the photobucket app onto my itouch. It did say it was for iTouch users. I have problem logging in. I can log in fine on my pc, and on safari on my itouch. I do log out though, thinking that may be the problem. I then tried to register as a new user through the app, and then logged out. I tried to log in with tha new user id and password, but it doesn't work. Does anyone else have this problem?

DELL 8300 (home), Windows XP, ITouch 16gb

It is only for the iPhone. I tried to get it from them, and the app store told me I need an iPhone to download it.

Hmmmm... I seem to remember it saying it was for the itouch as well. I will check into that. I am at work, and don't have itunes on my pc.

ok, just to clarify,when linked from the photobucket page to the app in the app store, a message popped up saying I need an iPhone, see if your touch does the same thing if you can.

When I purchased this app and downloaded it, at no time did I ever get a message sayinng I needed an iPhone.

Hold on, what do you mean by linked from the photobucket page to the app in the app store? You mean when I tried to download it, or when I am on my app on my iTouch?

I didn't go through that link. I went to itunes. How come there is a difference in that and on itunes app store. Something is wrong here.

I just downloaded it through the app store without going through the site, and it let me download it. I have a feeling that the person that posted it thought that an iPod Touch and an iPhone are the same thing except the phone call feature is disabled, or some little thing like that and checked off both for compatibility.

Macuser,
I downloaded it successfully from iTunes App Store. The problem I have is logging into it on my iTouch. Do you have an iTouch and it works for you doing it this way?

posting this from my ipod so forgive the spelling. I have just sucessfully uploaded one image to my photobucket. Will post instructions on what I did when I get to a computer.

Well that is encouraging, do you have an iTouch? How do I disable the phone thing? It never gave me that option.

Did you email it to the photobucket address? I see you do have an itouch. The thing is, I can't seem to log in on the app.

Well iTunes support says I should go through the app people at
FOX Interactive Media. I just googled it and I can't find their exact site for a support link to address this question directly to them. Does anyone know what the link is?

alright, now I can type out the directions on a keyboard this would be easier to understand.

1. go to the App Store application on your iPod Touch
2. search for "photobucket"
3. select and download the app called "ShoZu" (it is free)
4. when it is done downloading, click on it. you should be brought to a screen that prompts you to either login or sign up
5. press sign up, now wait while your account is created (not photobucket account)
6. when that is completed it will give you a list of sites to add, in this case chose "Photobucket"
7. when asked press "ok"
8. now enter your photobucket account username then the password
9. press "save" that the upper right corner of the screen when completed
10. now you can upload photos to your photobucket
11. to upload press the "send photos" menu item in the photobucket menu
