LCD Projector and Keynote Presentation - Do I need an adapter??

Hi there -
I am presenting at a couple of conferences this week and have no idea which LCD projector they use at both places. However, I was told I should make sure I had an adapter. Anyone know what type they are speaking of? Where can I get them?
