iPhone wifi not working

Ok so as of two days ago, my iphone has had major difficulties finding wifi networks, let alone connecting onto any of them. I live in an apartment complex and normally my iPhone shows a list of around 20 different networks, but now my phone sees none of them. I can even lay my phone on top of my router, and still nothing. Earlier today I passed by an Apple store, and my phone couldn't even pickup the free wifi there. I have already tried resetting my network settings to default on my iPhone, restored my iPhone, and still nothing.

Anybody else having this problem?

Thanks in advance.

seems this sort of problem is going on more and more with faulty iphones and ipads that we cannot get replaced if warranty is out 😟 my ipad had lost is volume before christmas, took back to apple and just out of warranty, they wanted £200 for a replacement exchange thing as hardware fault the much the same as this iphone fault.

is this Apples response now to say get a load more cash out to replace a faulty product yourself at your expense or tuff ? you may be the lucky ones to have an iphone/ipad that works for or a while or like me who has had an ipad and iphone now within 3 months that has developed a hardware fault through no fault of my own, but due to Apples faulty goods not lasting much past their warranty, no replacement unless we pay and cannot get fixed 😟

Ive brought Apple products for years, over 20 infact over 30 items right back from the mac performer 5200 and always went out my way to sing apples praises to all, never had a bad response from apple until now. they were always keen to help sort, but sadly customer support is now going down the pan with apple.

over £1000 down the drain if I cannot get sorted😟

Guys you know what?

changing my battery resolved the problem!!!

Go get a battery on ebay (try not to take the cheapest one) and a pentalube screwdriver both together for around $10 shipped into your mail box...! Please be carefull with the vibrator cable and the front camera cable following the top of the battery, I repair few Apple products myself btw)

it looks like the battery get too warm so it warms up the wifi ship next to it.

for the Ipads well I guess a hair dryer would let you unglue the front screen but ahm be carefull not to exagerate either....

good luck! It's worth a try!

Thanks, pal!

My 4S has eventually connected to TC Wi-fi.

The only clarification I'd like to introduce is:

Turn on Airplane mode

Turn on Wi-fi

Turn off your iPhone (completely, not just restarting — holding home and power button until apple logo appears)

Turn on your iPhone

Turn off Airplane mode (after this step you'll be prompted to enter SIM PIN if you have one)

iPhone wifi not working
