Is there a way to add track numbers to the mp3 file names?

I've recently switched from using Windows Media Player to iTunes. I ripped all my music through WMP and the file names of all the tracks are just "Song Title" but with no track number (eg "01 - Song Title").

Is there a way that I can get iTunes to add this onto the file name? It would take me faaaaaar to long to rip everything again. I need the track number in the file name as I'm making mp3 CDs for the car and want the albums to play in the correct order.

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Matt,

When you burn the MP3 CD with iTunes, it names each file on the CD as "number title," independent of what the original file name was. The number corresponds to its position in the playlist from which you are burning. (It does not modify the filename on your hard drive.)

I believe that will accomplish the sequencing you are looking for. Give it a try and let us know.
