How to use the Casio CW-100 CD thermal printer on Mac OS?
Many Mac users have asked about using the Casio CW-100 CD thermal printer on Mac OS. While Casio itself offers no support Mac OS, compatible label software can be downloaded from TDK Europe which sells an identical OEM model, the LPCW-100. The problem is that this does not include the kernel extension OS X needs to recognize the USB printer. In order to install that, you must download the original installer from the developer. Although it's in Japanese, this download is a trial shareware version -- you don't need the Japanese shareware, but you do need the driver extension that is included. After you download it, run the OS X installer. Then discard the Japanese version shareware and use the English version TDK label software. That's all there is to it. Hope this helps.
