Couldn't unmount disk (-1000) leopard 10.5.4
Hi Guys,
I am running leaopard 10.5.4 and I have just partitioned my HDD in two equal partition of 46.58 GB with guid partition table on both.
Before partitioning to verify my disk and repair if needed to be I used to run fsck -fy. Now when I do so, I get the error message saying that "could not unmount disk (-1000)". I tried to unmount the partition /dev/disk0s2 but that is the partition system 🙂
is that error message link to my new partitioning?
is there any way I could get around that pb? ( i have no other way to run fsck -fy to verify and repair my disk. I cannot install any third party software on my computer.)
I checked the SMART status and it is ok. I have also repaired the permissions on /dev/disk0s2.
Thank you all for your help.
