Email Sent Items Displays "From" instead of "To" in summary email list
When I go to the list of my Sent Items in Mail, the 2-line summary is proceeded by my name as sender, which, of course is always the same. It would be more useful for it to show who I sent email to. I can't find a setting which will display the "To" instead of the "From". I have imap mail accounts.
Thanks
BCC was the only setting I could find that might affect this. Do you have more than one email account on the iPhone and does it happen in the other account(s)?
Since it's "sent items" it only shows the message once; but unfortunately it's always listed with my name instead of who I sent to; so I turned OFF bcc myself on my iPhone, and also when i send from my computer (where I also do NOT automatically bcc myself), the Sent messages list still shows each message with only my name (sender). So it iPhone be displaying up the "From" instead of the "To".
Again, issue is that if I'm looking through my email "sent items" on my iPhone for email I sent to a particular person, I can't just scan through the list. I need to open up email in order to see the recipient. It seems logical that recipient should be shown in list of sent emails, rather than each and every sent email showing my name (sender) in the list.
Is it working this way for everyone? Or is there a setting I need to change?
I have turned off bcc myself and sent emails since, but they still show this way in the list.
It happens in my other aol imap account also. For both aol accounts, my sent messages appear down below in a FOLDER called "Sent Items".
I also have some gmail accounts that I don't really use. The problem does NOT happen in those accounts. I just tested, In those accounts, the sent messages appear in a AIRPLANE called "Sent Mail".
