Stuck on Favorites Menu

"Contacts favorite page"? Do you mean "Favorites" in the phone app? "Button to go to the main menu"? Do you mean the Home button? If the iPhone isn't responding the the home button, simultaneously hold down the home and sleep buttons for aprox 10 seconds - until the grey apple icon shows. This hard resets the iPhone.

Absolutely AND you probably had NO support forum to prove that either.

Me too, just reset your phone by pression Wake and Home button until the screen turns off. Apple really rushing these iphone 3Gs with beta firmware.

I was also stuck in Phone->Favorites and the info in the above reply fixed it for me. Thanks for the tip! Before I read that I was resigned to letting my iphone battery drain to get it back ...
