Reset window positions

I suspect that my father's iPhoto "adjustments" window has been moved so far out from the screen, that he can't find it when he clicks on the "adjustments" button in edit mode. When he clicks on "Effects" the window pops up, but he can't see that anything happens when he clicks on "Adjustments".

Is there a way to reset the window positions in any way? Or to move a window without having to actually click and drag it?

Try reset the display resolution: System Preferences -> Displays. This will often recover a missing window.

Or try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
