How to Install COD2 on a iMac

It worked on windows XP now that broke and we got an iMac its a PC DVD-ROM or do i need to buy a new game specificaly for mac's
it reads the disk as COD2DVD and it wont open in the installer like it would on windows and it dose not know the program to manually use the setup.exe?
can it work?

It has been a while since I played games, but some time back you could use the data files on a pc game cd rom as long as you had the mac game launcher.

you can download the mac version demo from

http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/games/demos_updates/callofduty2.html

then you could try exracting the data files from the pc cdrom and using them with the demo. This is a guess but it may work.
