Is my iMac a High Definition Screen?

I just bought the new iMac 2.66GHz, is the display a high definition display?

Hi,
I suppose your iMac's screen resolution is 1680*1050. That is not HD. See the resolution of apple's HD displays

Well, of course, it depends on what you mean by "HD".

As Ashan pointed out, yur iMac's display resolution is 1680 x 1050 pixels. That's above 720p HD (1280 x 720 pixels) but below 1080p ("full") HD (1920 x 1080 pixels).

The 24" iMac's display has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (1220 instead of 1080 because computer displays have a different aspect ratio than TVs - 16:10 for a computer display vs. 16:9 for a TV display).
