We're experiencing a problem when looping a range of the Timeline (green selection) in Cycle Mode (a song loop, not a sample loop). When it gets to the end of the selection, sometimes playback simply stops and it doesn't loop at all. Other times it loops a few times and then playback stops. There are no error messages, it just stops.
Is this a known bug? Can anyone help us troubleshoot this?

Yes, this has happened on 2 different Macs. A G5 duo 2.3 and a Mac Mini Core 2 Duo 1.8 mhz. The effect load is low and the processor load is never more than 50%.
I do not know if that is the problem, it could be -
you should try it - say, no preprocessing and smooth algorithm. See if it makes a difference. If not, put it back to its' original setting.
Okay, I am bogged down. NOW try trashing the Logic prefs - don't forget to export key commands first, if you have them customised.
And check this:

When we turn it off, it doesn't loop at all.
One thing to keep in mind is that as we've been sitting here responding, it has been looping away with no problem. The issue arises seemingly at random. The Song is for an art installation which runs 24 hours a day, and we play the sound back straight from Logic (there's really no other way to do it with our setup). At seemingly random points, it just stops looping.
