i just started working at a church and they have had this mac for about 2-3 years now and its never been cleaned up and i feel its time to clear out the hard drive and reinstall everything and get a fresh start i know how to do this on a pc but iv never done it on a mac if theres anyone out there that can help me out let me know thank you

Yes, I just saw it. As I posted previously, your computer shipped with 10.4.7. The code is (8K1123). You can certainly install from that disk, then update to 10.4.11. However, if you want Leopard, you will need to get the Full Retail Version of Leopard.
cornelius, much obliged for all your help. yesterday afternoon bought leopard upgrade, so will install that after i reset the imac.
