AIM not connecting

Everytime I try to connect to AIM I get an error message saying.

"You must have a network connection to access the AIM network." AIM works on Egde and/or Wi-Fi.

I am using Palringo with no issues (both on Edge & Wi-Fi). My email works correctly as well so there is an issue witht the AIM application.

Is there a way to fix this so it works as intended?

I am having the same problem today as well with AIM. When you said you cleared your aim name, etc. did you mean on the iphone, on the computer in mail.app, or on aim itself? If it is an AIM problem, maybe I should wait, although some have said yours came back today, but mind has not, yet. Also when I was complaining about battery drainage, someone on another sight recommended turning off PUSH in settings. What happens when I do that? Will that affect Mobile me? will it affect AIM, although it was on when I tried to access AIM.

Thanks. Ellen

Ellen,

You'll want to do this on the iphone itself. You can do it by going into:
Settings>AIM and clear out your screen name and password from the top.

Once you have done this go back to your home screen. Touch the AIM icon and it'll ask you to login to AIM again with your credentials. Once you do this, you should be back in.
