[iPhone] Pending Contract for ever?

Congrats Barnaby! I'm still waiting on mine. =( Going on 8 weeks. In your experience, when were you accepted into the iPhone program and when was your first app approved?

No !!! About 5 weeks !! Pff...

8 ??? My god, 2 months to just validate a standard contract?

Is there a crisis somewhere? 😝

Hi, sorry for not getting back sooner. I registered for the iphone Program way back but being UK based had to wait until 13 July to be accepted/have money taken from my account.

I finished the app in early August and then spent 2 weeks trying to understand how to log in to itunes connect.

Eventually I nice Scottish lady on the telephone sorted that out for me.

On 23 August, having finally logged into itunes connect I spent 8 hours overnight trying to make sure my code was correctly signed and then uploading my application agreeing contracts, speaking to the IRS and printing and posting my contract.

My application was approved as 'ready for sale' on 10 September.

The the never ending pending contract message appeared. Tried phoning developer support, but contract matters are nothing to do with them. Emailed various people and eventually got some response but no 'action'

Amoremio eventually cleared for sale on 7 October.

Somewhat coincidentally there were other not enormously dissimilar apps given the same release date, so there may have been some other complications.

Thanks Barnaby for replying! I'm going on 9 weeks wait for my "pending contract." =/ I've filled out all the forms on iTunes Connect for the paid contract online. There are all green check marks except for the Setup Complete. Was I supposed to mail tax forms or anything to apple or anyone to allow them to complete the process? I noticed there is a link on the bottom for the non-japanese developers to send in forms, but I looked at it and decided to pass and just give them 20% tax. I live in San Francisco. Thanks.

I've the same problem.. from 10th August.. Contract Pending..

Apple come on!!

I signed as individual. I am in the pending contract limbo for 6 weeks... very frustrating.

I've submitted 2 apps: September 5 and October 22. The first one is still "in review". The second one became "Ready for Sale" the same day that I submitted it!!!! I became super excited, until...

But hey, after reading the mail Apple sent my saying the App was Ready, I logged into itunes connect and saw the reality it said: "Pending Contract". It's incredible, another endless wait. How can this be?

Is someone at Apple reading these forums? I sent an email to them, but had no reply.

I have seen someone put this question in digg.com, I think may be we can help digg that to let more people know about the pending contract program
