iPhone 2.1 battery dramatically WORSE than EVER before

So I left my iPhone on overnight like I usually do and let it go to sleep

Usually before the 2.1 update, the battery would only drain 5 to 10% of my battery MAX

Now the battery has drained down to only 30 or 25% battery life left

How did this happen?! All the settings were left the same!

I had almost a full battery life when letting the iPhone sleep for 12 hours
Now it's drained about 70 or 80% of my battery life in the same period

It says the update had longer battery life, this proved the exact opposite for me

I don't leave EDGE on because I have wifi at home, and I don't have push exchange

Nothing would point to why the battery bar is so low, but what fixes are there to this problem?

Dale,I followed the procedure just like you detailed in the Sept 16 post and had no luck. I removed my iPphone this morning from an overnight charge and I currently have 41 minutes of usage and 7 hours of standby and my battery is below half. Do you have any other suggestions? Prior to all my troubles one month ago as detailed in my post above, I was getting about 48 hours of standby and 5/6 hours of usage before a charge was needed. The only thing I still have on is BLUETOOTH and I always kept it on before. Does anyone think with the latest updates that battery usage has increased in the latest firmware updates with bluetooth usage?
