Cheap OEM Audio Software

Hi...I'm a hobbyist, recording a "musical scrapbook" with old friends. I use GB 08 with a Konnekt 6 firewire AI. I cam across a site called "Music Soft" (www.tbm-language.com/index.php) which offers OES audio software downloads at incredibly low prices. For example, Ozone 3 is $15, and Melodyne 3.j0.1.5 Studio Edition is $25! Of course, you get no packaging or manuals or discs when you download, but....

Just wanted to know if anyone had used this site, and wondered whether using it was "legal" or even "fair" to the producers of these software packages.

Well, I got no answers to my question, so I thought I'd give this OEM site a try. It was quite a struggle getting the software authorized and working, but the support desk hung in there and got the job done. I only hope that what I did was legal -- the software is working. I would only recommend this route to those who have either lots of expertise or lots of patience!

I finally got around to going to this site. Doesn't seem right.

They are selling Wave Arts PowerSuite DX VST RTAS 5.0 for $10 when it sells everywhere else for $470 or higher. Hope you didn't give them a CC number!

Thanks....it is a pretty questionable operation. Nothing comes with the software, in terms of instructions. And I had to pester them to make good on some software issues. Won't do it again...and will watch my credit card statements like a hawk!
