Texting Photos ??

Am I right in thinking you can't add a photo when texting someone. I know you can email a picture but my daughter wanted to add a photo to a text she was sending from my iPhone but couldn't find a way to do this ?????

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

now am not going to buy it !!
REALLY!!

it is missing a lot of stuff but i am going to buy it coz it is such an amazing device, i am making a personal judgment and am not asking u to give me ur opinion to buy it or not, THANK YOU!

Jeez, agent_s87, chill dude.

Tamara answered the question, her answer was polite, informative & truthful, you my friend are not, please be a little more repectful in future.

And for reference - the iPhone is not "missing a lot of stuff", it does not forward text, nor does it MMS - this is not a lot of stuff, it is two bits of technology that neither matter to many people, nor are particularly useful to the same people.

Please be repectful of the forums / discussions buddy. 🙂

Considering that your detail says "User that can't afford Apple Comps 😟 Windows XP Currently Nokia N82, soon hopfully iPhone 3G ", it's pretty safe to say that you don't have an iPhone and that you do have a Nokia.

hmmmm the iPhone isn't a computer as far as i know!!
and there us a difference when u pay $200 for an iPhone around here and paying nearly $3000 for an Apple computer, and yes i do have a Nokia too... 2 SIM cards 2 Different companies 2 Different Phones, and i am saying i don't not have the iPhone 3G
read in a better way next time..

well, she is always like that toward my replies, u r new and u didn't see what stuff we been talking about and how she do all this, i respect her as a person i do not have anything for her, i don't know her for god sakes! i am just like that toward her answers! to be clear

on the other hand u clearly miss a lot of other phones features to say it is not missing some stuff, MMS & text forward are just 2 things from a whole bunch of other stuff...

Thank you for the advice 🙂

Technically, the iPhone isn't missing MMS or forwarding since it never had it in the first place 😉. People should say that they would like it if Apple would implement ... feature.

The iPhone is more like a handheld computer than a phone. It runs a version of OS X just like Apple Computers do.

Apple Computers are expensive in the US also. I consider myself fortunate to have my Macbook instead of a PC. Not everyone here can afford iPhones or Apple Computers.

so the iPhone is Apple's AFFORDABLE computers, but their REAL MAC line isn't that Affordable...
but when u look to some prices outside of the states they are insanely high!

because it NEVER HAD IT, it is missing them, don't tell me u never used forwarding a text, or u never used the MMS, or u never sent a photo or anything else using bluetooth, or never customized a ringtone for a text or alarm clock, or never set the alarm and turned the phone off...
i am so sure that u at least did all of that ONCE!!
it is missing them and we request an implement!

Never forwarded a text to anyone.

or u never used the MMS,

Once in a great while I'll send a picture to someone and email works fine for that.

or u never sent a photo or anything else using bluetooth,

I don't have the time to wait for bluetooth to take an hour to do something. I find bluetooth to be a buggy protocol. The only bluetooth items in my house are the mouse & keyboard for my computer.

or never customized a ringtone for a text or alarm clock,

Never done that. I'm perfectly fine with normal alarm clock sounds and text sounds

or never set the alarm and turned the phone off...

To be honest, I don't use the phone as an alarm clock and when I turn something off, I expect it to be actually turned off and not in standby.

In case you missed it, Apple isn't a feature driven company. They don't pile on tons of features just so the marketing people can list them all in huge detail.

This is why the Macbooks don't have loads of ugly flash memory card readers, stickers all over them with "Intel inside" etc....

You either want quantity or quality. You can't have both these days, technology is moving too fast.

it is hard to believe, or u don't have any contact, hehehe, it is IMPOSSIBLE that no body did forward a text in their life, am not buying that fan girl...

well, maybe not u, but million others did and do...

i guess u r using bluetooth 0.1, coz the new bluetooth 2.0 is quite fast if u didn't know, and i am not syncing my device over bluetooth, i am sharing my files with other handsets...

Never done that. I'm perfectly fine with normal alarm clock sounds and text sounds

well, other do like to customize there phone to become more personal, if u just use the standards then it is up to u, who cares.

be happy with ur alarm clock then 🙂 it is in the phone to be used 🙂
