both are equally the same. It's only the color difference.
But black looks cooler than the white. No offense here. but is true.

the only difference is the fingerprint visibility. black does show more prints then the white. I hear that the cracks or hair line cracks are more visible on the white one then the black. Later, the white will turn into yellow.

Other than that both are the same in spec. It's not like, "oh white uses a different chip than the black."

well white does indeed looks cool becuase the white is only available in 16 GB and when people see that you have white, they know that you have the 16 GB. whereas for a black it has 2 options, 8 GB or 16 GB. so they are not gonna now which one you have even though you have an iphone 3G. lol. I hear that maybe apple is going to release the 32 GB sometimes in the future. so if white comes out then, well then there is no way to tell if you have the 16 or the 32. lol

But yea i personnally love Black.

That's the same claim they made when the powerbooks went from titanium to aluminum. If the metal is blocking the signal, then make the metal part of the antenna. It doesn't sound very likely anyway. If having a piece of metal on one side is going to block the signal, what is going to happen when I get into a metal car? or stand next to a street sign?
