can't log into facebook from iphone

I'm having the exact same issue. Can anyone help ? Changed passwords etc but still the same. Can login using the same account info on my computer, not via iphone app though.

hi, i had the same problem took me a week 2 sort it. my problem seemed to occur when the new update was released for this app. after this i cold not logging after playing around with my facebook account and my gf(gf logged in on the iphone without a problem) i noticed that my username was my mobile no and hers was her email so i logged onto facebook and added a email too my account. bingo when i went to login this time using the email address instead of my mobile number it worked. hope this helps

ps. i have also read that turning off the 3 options in settings on the phone for this app also helps it did not for me but might 4 u

I am glad to find out I am not the only one with this problem. I have tried several times and can't get FB to log on. I checked for updates it said it didn't have any.

My husband and I just got a new iphones and we were so bummed because we had this same problem. I found out how to make it work and it worked for both of us. Go to settings and then click on facebook. Turn OFF the three facebook options. Then, go back home and go into your facebook app, log in, and it should work. After you log in, you can go back and turn those three options back on.

I had the same problem. I got around it by typing my username, then my password, then immediately going back to the username box (I think I just put the cursor there, but I may have actually retyped my username), and only THEN hitting the "go" button.

No idea why that should have worked, but it did for me.

I can log on. Try:
iPhone.Facebook.com or m.Facebook.com via Safari, then bookmark.
m = mobile. Originally, I used a different route which brought me to the above URLs.

Uploading photos from my iPhone to Facebook has been unsuccessful so far. Server unrecognized.

Are you using the Facebook 2.0 app?

I too am having this problem with the Facebook app. Have you tried using the Facebook Webapp in Safari? I can't access that either...same incorrect login error.

I have same issue. Brand new iPhone, and Facebook App. I can login thru Safari, but not thru the App.
