Mac OS X Freeze

Mac OS X freeze with progress bar full..... does nothing after hours and hours. Shut down with power button.... same thing over and over. Start-up with disc 1, nothing.. same response. Tried all hints in my troubleshooting section..... grrrrr

I am in and making the entry the way you have directed me to. Right now I am looking at the "FILE SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED" and have re-entered as directed. I am waiting on a response.

Thank you professor. I am rebooting and the same thing is going on. I will drop it off at the Apple Store with a genius next time I get to Cols.... Thank you for being a patient coach!
