Occasionally my iphone 3G stops a song while in play when using earbuds or portable speaker ... sometimes it will occur once during the song...other times it can happen up to 10 times.
So aggrevating! Does anyone have this problem? If so.... any remedies?
I'm having the same problem - this was not an issue a week ago. It's driving me nuts, particularly when I am trying to work out or even go for a walk. Like sfulton, any suggestions would be great!!
Will is stop in the middle of the tune at the same spot and jump to the next song?
I know I had issues with this on my first gen with music and videos. What it turned out to be was that I was running raid 0 on my system and iTunes for some reason doesn't like that!
Yes...that is what it takes to fix the problem. But I shouldn't have to reboot the iPhone everytime this happens....which is frequently. I don't think a brand new iPhone should have this problem. JMO.
I just reinstalled the whole software yesterday and now I got the same problem:
iPod randomly stops playing while plugged to my car by a speaker cable.
In another discussion board I found a thread with the same thing. One guy assumed that it might have something to do with the iPhone switching from one base station (cell) to another.
That might really be a cause as it happened while driving my car. It doesn't do it when I'm at home.
Any ideas if there's a correlation between the phone changing cells and the iPod stopping playing?
