ipod nano or shuffle for gym?? Difference?

Hey all.

I have a 60 gig ipod which I LOVE and use for travel and long trips. BUT i was just about to get a shuffle for the gym...as working out with the 60 gig can get in the way sometimes. Now that the Nano has come out though its a tough one. Which would you prefer and why? Can I randomly load songs on the nano like the shuffle? I don't need the full features of a regular ipod...so I don't know if the nano is overkill.

Andrew,

If you sweat like a horse, I would recomend a sport case for a suffle. This will protect the salt from your sweat from seeping into the lanyard cap and rusting the USB port (check rusty posts in the Shuffle use forum)

Otterbox offers a sportcase that is submersible (3 feet in water) that is actually better protection than Apple's "splash resistent/ dust resistent" sport case. The Otterbox case is the same price as Apple's, but not as pretty, but a heck of a lot more durable!

If you ever go nano, Otterbox is developing a box for that too!
