App for Recording Phone Conversations?

there are legal implications regarding phone recordings.... usually u need permission to record a convo or at least use it in a court of law i don't think that a 3rd party developer would want to even explore the idea of recording phone convos until the law will allow you to without any consequences.

Carly - thank you for your post - I have read this thread and a lot of others have made similar comments.

My point is - YES we all know that there is a legal aspect in terms of recording phone conversations - but that is beside the point, and can not be the answer to why there is no solution for iPhone.

As I stated the solutions excist for lots of other phones - and it is hardly illegal to develop and sell such a solution.

Further there are times and situations where it is not illigal to record a conversation, and on top of all the legislation about this probably varries a lot from contry to country - remember iPhone is all over the world, as is the need for an app.

I can only imagine that it is a matter of technical issues, and I hope it will be solved
