Best Case for the 3G??

Hey guys
I been reading lots about the cases for the Iphone 3G
Chrome protection is what im wondering about

My current 3G has some bad scratches on it from the Griffin Hard Case that clips in 2 pieces to it.
There has to be a case out there that protects the chrome plus not scratching it when you put it on.

Whats everyone's opinion about a good case with Chrome Protection?

I personally don't like plastic cases, because 1. No matter if it's in there, it can still scratch the iphone. Maybe if you just leave it there and never to take it out, it might be okay and not make scratches but if you take it out a lot, over time it will create scratches.

I'd stick with either zagg shield, or bodyguardz, or probably the silicons. Tho the silicons to make the iphone scratch overtime. I've had many other phones with plastic cases or silicon cases, and 2-3 years down the road no matter how much I baby it, there will be scratches.

I have an INCIPIO case i bought at the AT&T store. It comes w/ 2 silicone covers (1 white, 1 black) and a plastic piece that goes over the silicone for extra protection. No complaints so far phone still looks brand new.

ZAGG Invisible Shield...
I don't use my Sena magnetic flip cover near as much as I thought I would... instead, just slip my 3G into a front trouser pocket. I had ordered my ZAGG while waiting for my Sena case to ship since it was a pre-order back in early July... and have since learned I could have done without the Sena. Sena is a very nice and eloquent leather case, but the protection I get from my ZAGG has proven more functional at the end of the day. The Sena provides protection, style and aesthetics for those business call's, but i have found most cases inhibit the 3G in the "vibrate" mode, causing me to not even being made aware a call has come in.

I like switch easy brand cases. You can go to www.switcheasy.com and check them out. I've ordered the Capsule Rebel, and the Capsule Neo from them, I like the Neo, it works great, while a lot of others like the Rebel. Check them out. Also, you can go to You Tube, and search Switch Easy Rebel, and you'll see a lot of people doing reviews on this case, because so many people love it!

Endure the case that bulks up iPhone and hides its beauty all just for the sake of protection and instead get scratches from that same case 🙂 Also another paradox - if you're so concerned how the chrome bezel looks than why try to cover it so you won't see it anyway? I think the chrome thing is one of the most classy and attractive elements of iPhone looks. Pity to hide it.

That's why I simply carry my iPhone "naked" (except for screen film) in a pocket. I just make sure that nothing else like coins or keys is in that pocket. No scratches so far in 2 months.
