Hanging indent equivalent to Cmd-T in Microsoft Word

Is there a keyboard shortcut in Pages that is equivalent to CMD-T? If not, what would the procedure be to make a function key do this?

MacBookPro, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

Go to system preferences, keyboard and mouse, keyboard shortcuts, click the small plus sign in the lower left and add the command.

May you explain to which menu item you will attach this shortcut ?

Cmd T is already used by Pages (list of shortcuts available from Help > Keyboard Shortcuts.
It's the MacOS X's standard shortcut which opens the Fonts Panel.

Depends what hanging indent you want to perform.

The Lists in the document toolbar already create the kind of hanging indents that are bulleted or have numbers.

If you want to do it with text, then create a Style based on what you want and allocate it one of the f-keys you can use for Styles.

I think I've found the answer, or sort of. I'm new to Pages (obviously). I see that if you select the Inspector, Text, Tabs, Paragraph idents, and leave "first line" set at 0 in but change "left" to 0.25, then you get the hanging indent I'm talking about. I guess I wish there was a keyboard shortcut to do that.

As I said above, *Create a Style* to do this for you and give it a keyboard shortcut.

See the *Pages Manual* p118

To give a style a keyboard shortcut you select the *Style Name* in the *Styles Drawer*, right mouse button click, scroll down to *Hot Key* and give it one of the *F Keys* .
