Graphics glitches occurring with the GeForce 9400M?

Has anyone seen the same type of graphics glitches occurring with the GeForce 9400M in the new MacBooks that occurred in the MacBook Pros with GeForce 8600M GT?

The link to that previous issue is here: http://apcmag.com/appleacknowledges_macbook_pro_graphics_glitch_offersfix.htm

When viewing web pages with both Safari and Firefox, the page gets corrupted when I scroll down with the trackpad (this does not happen when scrolling with arrow keys). Any type of animation or video on a page is also really jumpy and flashes in and out.

It sounds like this was a hardware issue with the graphics card in the last version of the MBPs. Has anyone seen this issue in their new MacBooks?

Update: Tried the daily maintenance scripts in MacPilot and cleared history in Safari, but haven't seen any changes yet. Have to get Onyx and see about those cache cleanings.
-- But here is one weird thing: When I visit the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten ( http://www.aftenposten.no/), there are no screen glitches even in Safari! Maybe it's because the front page is anti-cache and redraws from the server all the time... (like, if I lose the airport for a few seconds, the Aftenposten page will go "page not found"). So, obvoiously a cache thing, and connected to the trackpad scrolling (no glitches if I move the scrollbar on the right, like in the old days).

I have reset my PRAM, cleared my cache files, nothing works.

I still have this problem in iLife, dashboard overlays, progress bars, etc, etc, etc.

VERY annoying... not sure what to do, maybe should have kept my old mbp for awhile longer. shrug

Whomever was asking about serials, mine was "844" so 08 machine built in the 44th week if that helps anyone at Apple. I plan to call in to the support line and let them know what is happening. I would suggest everyone do the same to make sure Apple is aware of this issue.

Further to this, I've noticed another application that reliably produces distortion.

Football Manager 09's 3D match view flickers and has the same horizontal distortion patterns as I see in Safari all the time. However, like Flash video, for me it's only when the app is running in a window – as soon as I fullscreen it, the distortion goes away.

I have noticed that if I am plugged in to power, the problem is either significantly diminished or gone completely. I just did a test: scrolled on this very web site discussion group topic and got the graphics corruption. Plugged in the power adapter, and move the corrupted part of the screen up just enough to force the screen to refresh coming back down - corruption gone. I repeated this several times, disconnecting and reconnecting the power and results were the same. Whatever the problem, it's related to whether the mac is plugged in.

After noticing that the graphics corruption is way worse when the Macbook is unplugged, I changed a a setting in the Energy Saver control panel - unchecked the "Slightly dim display when using this power source" on the Battery tab. Ran Onyx to clear out caches, etc. Rebooted. I know that some posters note that the problem clears up for a few days after using a tool like OnyX or Cocktail. But, as of now (< 24 hours since doing this), I am not having this issue even with the Macbook unplugged.
