Imac/ At&t Uverse connection problem

My imac (intel) 2.4 is having problems loading webpages with ATT Uverse router. My airport signal is strong. I tried connecting the router to the computer with an ethernet cable and it was blazing fast.
The Uverse techs have been to my house twice and do not have a clue as to what's going on. I do have version 10.5.5.

Please help!

Have you been able to solve the u-verse/safari problem yet? I have a problem with web pages starting to load, but then there is a huge delay before it finishes, or finished with parts of the page missing. We have 3 macs; an imac that is hard-wired, another imac by wi-fi, and a macbook pro by wi-fi. All are running 10.5.6. U-verse technical help transferred me to Tier-2 and he gave me the same answer: the signal is being delivered at the appropriate speed, therefore it must be something with our macs. We never experienced this with our previous provider; it began after uverse was installed in November. Also our daughter in college came home for Christmas, and her macbook did the same thing. When she returned to college safari operated normally on her macbook.

Same here, please help!
