how to use guitar rig 3 in logic

Hi everyone

I am trying guitar rig 3 demo, and one of the features is the capabilities to open the app in logic or garageband and use all the features directly while composing music in Logic.

question: how do you load it? i am used to cubase VST and VST and DX plugins, so i am not really sure how a Mac works.

after installation, just insert GR3 on an insert on the channel strip.

Indeed is what i am trying to accomplish, but have no idea how to insert it...the manual and the quick start guide are not helpful either

There are inserts at the top of the channel strip. Click on one of them, choose either stereo or mono>stereo and you will have a choice of Logic or AU plug-ins. If you choose AU you will see Native Instruments and then you can choose Guitar Rig.
