Airport Express Flooding Network w MDNS

I have a new (802.11n) Airport Express and an older 802.11b/g Airport Express. Both are setup in bridge mode, both connected via Ethernet to my local network. Both are setup in WDS Main mode, with the other listed as a WDS Remote. Neither one reports any problems, however the new 802.11n Airport (fw ver 7.3.2) is flooding my network with about 500 packets/sec of MDNS multicasts, mostly all Cache Flush commands. This only happens when the ethernet cable is plugged into that Airport. It slowed my entire network down enough that I noticed it right away. Is there something wrong with my configuration that is causing this or is this a problem with the n Airport? If it is my configuration, how should I configure both Airports to effectively provide a single wireless network to my clients where each access point (Airport) has an ethernet backhaul?

Hi,
I have a similar problem.
I'm using an airport extreme (802.11n) connected to a DSL modem and an airport express 802.11n to extend my wireless network. I tried to use this airport express in a room where I don't have good wireless signal from my extreme basestation (when the door is closed I don't receive any signal anymore). So I tried to connect my airport express wired with an ethernet cable. At this point I also see that the network is slowing down with a lot of activity (lights going in and out ...) on my switch board also causing problems to other systems in my network (homeserver etc ..)
On the other hand, the light on the airport is green and there is no problem reported in the airport utility.
The trouble ends when I switch off the wireless funktion or when I plug out the ethernet cable.
(And it restarts immediately (whitin 1 sec) after I plug in the cable.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem ? Or how to have Wifi from an airport express that I use to extent a WiFi network in a room that doesn't have a good signal from the base station

Thanks a lot for your help
