I'm using a LevelOne Wifi router and it's been working fine with the new Unibody MacBook Pro. But when I use Windows XP under Bootcamp, the wireless connection is very hard to setup. The MBP can see the router, but cannot connect to it. There was once that I made a connection, but it broke off after a few minutes of use. I'm sure it's not the problem of my router as all my other devices including a Sony Vaio, iPhone, iMac, etc. are able to connect to it.
Anyone with similar experience?
Unibody MacBook Pro 2.53GHz/iMac Core2Duo 2.66GHz/iPhone 16GB,
Mac OS X (10.5),
HP mininote 2133
I have the same problem except I was never able to get it to work under when starting up in the bootcamp partition . I believe that we need a new driver for the airport card as this is a new computer.
Exactly the same problem here. I also run bootcamp, but i do have the problem in Mac os and windows. In Mac it seems to be a little bit more stable but in windows i can connect in the beginning of the day, but after a few bytes of data i can't even connect to the network any more 😟 Does not.
Also having this problem. The card works perfectly in OS X Leopard, but doesn't work properly when booted to XP. In XP, it sees all the wireless networks around me, but when trying to connect to one, it says "Acquiring network address" forever.
