How to insert Carriage Returns in Concatenated Strings?

I am concatenating the contents of several cells into a string and would like to insert a carriage return line feed or "hard return" in the middle of the string so that values display on two lines in a single cell. When I looked at the available functions, the only one I thought would be appropriate is CHAR(). However, I am unable to determine what number to put in the brackets to obtain the proper results. Any assistance that anyone may provide is greatly appreciated.

Given what is described in the list of available shortcuts, select cell B2 then type control+return.
This inserts the wanted character.
In C2 insert =CODE(B)

It will return 8232 which is the wanted value.

Some posters don't understand that but my responses are always written to teach a way to solve the problems by ourselves in the future.
