opening file with no extension
I have many files with no extension and would like to open them with TextEdit.
Unfortunately, Leopard 10.5.5 is opening them in terminal.
When I change a particular file to open with TextEdit, it works. But when I try to select "change All" I get an error message
"An error occurred while changing the application that open "FILENAME" because not enough information is available.
Do you want to open "FILENAME" with "TextEdit.app"? "
I choose "Update" and it updates that App for that one file, but not for the other files.
How do I get Leopard to open all such files in TextEdit?
