Altec Lansing Speaker Interference

Hi,
I have some Altec Lansing VS2321 speakers and they are picking up noise from my Airport Extreme network router. This is very annoying...is there any way to fix this or shield them from picking up the signal? I have another computer with some Logitech speakers that are about 4 years old that do not pick up the interference.
I cannot change the frequency of the Wireless router because my wireless devices are not compatible with any other frequency. When I DO change it to 802.11n/a compatible and 802.11 (5ghz), the noise stops. 802.11n only (2.4ghz) does not make the noise stop. My current radio mode is 802.11n (802.11b/g compatible). Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
