Epson Print CD Program for Mac

I have an imac and Epson Stylus Photo R200 printer that allows me to print onto DVDs using the "Epson Print CD" program that came with the printer. However when I print onto the cd it's to the right by an inch.

I attempted to change the position in the "File-Fine tune print position" but this did not work.

I don't know what to do at this point. I misplaced the CD I got the program from so that's not an option. Can someone help me? 🙂

iMac 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

Hi Peter,

That is most likey the Page Setup Size that you are using.

Go to Page Setup>Paper Size>Manage Custom Sizes and make a new one using the + sign and set your margins how you wish/need.

Hope it is ok to jump in on and old post like this. I have just got a new iMac and want to use my r200 but have lost the Print CD install which was probably out of date anyway any one know where it can be found as the epson site is useless on the subject. Thanks for any help on this....rob

Tough to know from here, but I'd print out one page at the settings it has now, the use a Ruler to see far for off it is.

Here I printed out a page...

It was using this Printer's built in margins as you can see, but measuring a full size page would show that you need to move it a certain amount...

Hi BDAqua,

Thanks for your help, but I really don't have a clue where any of those setting are and also what I'm supposed to measuring. The printing of the CD is done (when looking at it) to the left, whereas when I print it on a blank sheet it is on the right. I also can't find the nine dot setting thing and don't know what the whole green page thing is about.

Again thanks in advance for any and all help. It is much appreciated.

I found the R200 Epson Reference Guides & Manuals

I had installed the CD because it included instructions for what you are trying to. Did you check inside the Epson folder which is located in the Applications folder? The reference guide should be in there. At least for the R220 it is.

Make sure you have inserted & lined up the DVD/CD *printing tray* correctly on the printer. The notches on the CD/DVD sliding tray & main tray must line up exactly. The slightest bump and/or vibration can knock it out of alignment.

Either the CD is out of whack or there is something wrong w/your printing tray.

Try removing the tray altogether. Search for any defects, dust, etc. on the tray & printer itself.
Try a different CD & possibly a DVD.

Last resort, CALL Epson-1-800-463-7766

Hi,

Thanks for the manual link. I printed a print position check pattern, did the measurements and adjusted accordingly but it still printed off centre in exactly the same way. Please help
