Connecting Dynex webcam

I just purchased a Dynex webcam (DX-WEB1C). Unfortunately, the camera has a dedicated USB cable. I found out to late that I need a firewire cable. Is there any way to get the two (2) to start talking with each other? The package even stated "Macintosh compatable with system 10.4.9 or better."
I was hoping there would be software telling the computer to look to the USB ports for the signal.

Roger, et al, I recently purchased a Dynex 1.3 Mp webcam, too, from Best Buy, where the clerk assured me this webcam worked with Macs with OS 10.4 and higher (or thereabouts).

I did the downloads discussed above and can get the camera to work with iChat and Webcam Monitor. Is there a method for getting it to work with Yahoo Messenger? Adobe Flash? Gmail Chat? It would be great if there were a way to switch between the iSight camera and the Dynex webcam. Any ideas? Maybe I should have looked for an Apple proprietary camera at the Apple Store...

Thanks!

This worked for Me!!

I using a 10 year old mac with new software and this driver is just what I needed and I think it is the universal driver for all Dynex products that Bestbuy would love for you to pay them to get this info!

I think anyone experiencing problems with their webcam on MAC should download this driver
