MacTheRipper vs HandBrake

Ok so what's better..?

The problem:

Basically I have the entire M.A.S.H. TV series on DVD, and thus would like to Rip them to a Mp4 or other compatible viewing option. I used to use DVD-X-Copy (PC Version) on my PC Laptop, and got great results with the XVID option. Now I have a 24" iMac w/ Mac OSX 10.5.5 etc. (They were Approx. 355MB per 25 Minute episode). I just want to have them copied to my HDD, for quicker easy viewing, also so I can watch them in iTunes if possible..?

Thanks again, and advice is appreciated!

So MacTheRipper or HandBrake..? (Remember; easy to use, good results).

OK sorry I was un-aware that this is breaking rules, First I guess I should have stated that I do own all the original copies (there not rented), second if illegal, then how is it legal for software companies to sell software that allows you to do this? (I live in canada, I am un-sure what rules apply to users in the U.S.) 3rd, I am asking just for an opinion ONLY and not for instructions on how this can be accomplished, as I do this ONLY for private viewing, I have approximately 11,000 TV Ep's no on HDD's. I just want to be able to watch them on my Mac. 😟

Thanks again, may I have your opinion, or is that breaking rules?! I am new to the forums, as you can see I have yet to read all the rules... 😟 once again, sorry.
