Song Play stops when browsing

Hi to all,
I will try to explain as best as i can my problem with my poor english:

When I play an album in itunes, it cycles between songs from the first to the last in that album and then stops, unless in the browser windows there are other songs visible and then itunes keeps on playing. I see that this is the exact behavior of itunes.

The strange thing is that if while playing a song of an album i start browsing other artists or albums, when the song that was playing finishes it won't start the next song, but it simply stops playing.

Is like it stops unless the next song is displayed in the browser window!

Does it happen only to me?
is this the normal behavior thet itunes is suposed to have?

tjank you for your answers.

I found something similar to my problem in another post:

+While playing a playlist in itunes if I start to browse another playlist or artist, itunes will stop playback of the playlist I was listing to when the current song is over. How do I stop this?+

+Also for example lets say I select (from the browser, "Artist"):+

+Beck -> Mellow Gold (from "album") -> Loser+

+Then I want to browse around my library. I select (from the browser, "Artist"):+

+Blind Melon -> Nico (from "album")+

+Then I wait until "Loser" stops, and instead of playing the next track of Mellow Gold, all music stops. I can't believe that you can't browse the library while an album is playing without stopping playback.+

I have the same issue and cannot get itunes to play an album straight through if I am browsing or editing music in itunes...which is exceedingly frustrating since I have edit a good percentage of the cds since the database that itunes uses to capture the music data (artist name, song names, art work etc) is LOADED with errors...(based on import of over 8,000 cds it less than 80% accurate which in my opinion *****) So I spend a lot of time cleaning up the crap that itunes loads and it would nice to do that while listing to a complete CD with having to constantly restart the album...
