In a way. Saying that emoji are useless for people outside Japan is irrelevant and not true. Japanese are not the only ones who like using that feature and we have Japanese citizens here in the US. In addition to that, emoji is a personal preference. There are individuals who like using them and other who don't, regardless of ethnicity or race.

I would say that to make the iPhone truly be one of the best phones, it should include many of the features that it now lacks and many more. These include cut and paste, video, MMS, emoji, push notification, etc... Imagine, if i could say to a non iPhone user, "yea my iPhone can do that plus it can do more amazing things with amazing features."

Don't get me wrong, I love Apple and their products but i don't understand why they don't at least discuss these issues or inform us to why they don't allow it here.

**For example: No one knew why Apple took of the Nvidia graphics update from their website. Some people were able to update while others didn't. It would be nice if they left a note or something saying that the update was not needed, or that they needed to fix the update, or anything.**

As I mention earlier. I love Apple and their products. They are very involved with the community when in comes to improving education, business, etc... and they offer one of the best products that suit your needs. But it would be nice if they were more involved with what the customers are requesting and what should we expect in the near future. Communication is key!

Hi you may activate emoji for free using "Spell Numbers" from the Apps Store, but it won't do a lot of good, the only way other people will see them is thru email viewed on an iPhone that has emoji enabled as well, SMS is out of the question unless your carrier has emoji enable in their system otherwise the receiver will get a question mark instead of the emotion. 😟
